Direct Support Professional:  

Locations of Openings:  Bloomington, Richfield, Eagan, Minneapolis, Blaine, Rochester


The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is our entry level, care giving position. The DSP will provide support and guidance to our clients in most areas of their lives, including independent living skills and social skills. It is an extremely rewarding position that directly impacts the lives of the clients we serve. 

No experience necessary - we will train energetic, bright individuals.   


The following shifts/positions are currently available:

Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm

Mon-Fri 3pm-11pm

Mon-Fri 5pm-11pm

Sat-Sun 8:30am-11pm

Wed-Sat 11pm-8:30am

Sun-Tues 11pm-8:30am


-Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required for some positions.

-Must be at least 18 years of age.

-Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.

-Must be able to pass a DHS Background Study.



 

Human Resources Assistant-

 The Human Resources Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and staff support for general organizational operations, The ideal candidate is good at problem solving, prioritizes and plans work efficiently, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality, adaptable to changes in the work environment, and is dependable and on-time.

This position supports the Director of Human Resources.


General
  • Answer telephone calls; respond to requests for information and/or forward messages to appropriate staff.

  • Handle sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality.

  • General office duties, such as typing, filing, organization of supplies, copying, faxing, etc.

  • Coordinate materials for training, meetings, and other activities of the organization.

  • Performs administrative duties that support the employment and employee relations functions, completes special projects, and performs other duties as assigned.


File Management

  • Oversee the centralized filing system for employee personnel information, ensuring prompt and accurate filing of documents, and retrieving documents from the files as needed or requested.

  • Offer suggestions and implements systems to manage the flow of documents.

  • Communicate needs for updated or missing information to the appropriate supervisory staff, both verbally and in writing when necessary.

  • Assist with new employee set-up, create personnel files, and enter new employees into databases. Process terminations and removal from all applicable databases.

  • Conduct exit interviews and exit checklists.


Employee Relations/Discipline


Assist with disciplinary tracking.  Keeping Operations updated on employee’s reliability and performance issues.  Participate in disciplinary meetings.

  • Review performance reviews and supervisor/employee discussion and progressive corrective action to ensure fair and equal treatment and application of policies and practices.

     

    Other


  • Update website with all necessary changes/revisions and forms.

  • Update staff employee lists and rosters.

     

    Qualifications:


  • Minimum of one year office administrative support experience is preferred.

  • High School diploma required. Additional education preferred.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to excel at detail management, multi-tasking, and working under pressure of deadlines.

  • Ability to maintain highly confidential nature of human resources work

  • Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills with all staff/employees.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Computer proficiency.  Must have experience in the use of Microsoft Office programs.
